We are excited to offer several cabin choices for this sailing.  We have listed below more information about those options, highlighting below guaranteed limited space in mini-suites, balconies, oceanview and interior cabins however we are also able to include options for suites and the exclusive "Reserve" cabins - but space is limited- so don't take too much time saying YES to this incredible sailing of the Panama Canal and Caribbean islands in 2024.  A summary of these cabin types may be found by reviewing the information below.

Q: Can you book my airfare?

A: Of course we can- we can help you book your air for a small ticketing charge to ensure that you don’t miss a beat while traveling or if you rather book on your own or use your points- no worries- just send us over your info after you book it and we can help arrange transfers to and from the ship. We also partner with Princess which offers Princess EZ air that we can help you all secure or perhaps you would like to travel with a group – Heber Travel can help set up group air saving you time and money. But remember- all of these options won’t happen earlier than about 10-11 months before sailing as airlines won’t open up their flights for sale yet.

Q: Are there transfers to the ship and back that we can arrange?

A: Transfers to and from the ship from the Fort Lauderdale airport are $38 per person and from the Miami airport $48 per person.  Please let us know when you know transfers are needed and we are on top of that for you!

Q: How do I book fun day trips from the boat for each port or in Fort Lauderdale where the ship leaves from?

A: Excursions are a great way to see the most amazing locations when sailing and we are here for you! Once booked you will be able to see the options available to you and we have other companies that we partner with to help you experience NYE on the Canal!

Q: Do I really need insurance?

A: Yes.  Yes.  Yes….. We can give you all the reasons, but we will always insist on insurance and this generally needs to be purchased 7-10 days from the booking.  So once you deposit your cruise, insurance is up next then eventually your flights and excursions…. By purchasing Travel Insurance you are protecting your travel investment to your best ability. .

Q: What if I want the true VIP experience? How do I upgrade? Should I wait for a great deal?

A: We treat all of our clients like VIPs so no worries there- in fact every client booked with us will be invited to attend an exclusive on board cocktail party- compliments of Heber Travel…but if you would like a little more of the Rock Star status- we have you covered- but they sell out fast- so check out the Upgrades to the “Reserve” cabin type and full suites. So your “great deal” comes early on in your booking but should something change and we can secure any additional savings for you- we always do! That is why you hired us…to be there with you as you plan your NYE vaca!

Q: What if I want a cabin all to myself or am traveling solo?

A: At times Princess will run specials on single rates- but this cruise being a holiday cruise it is very unlikely to see any specials on single cabins- so to be sure either pay full fare or find a friend who wants to experience this amazing historic passage: Not sure who you are bringing? One original name needs to stay on the original booking – so you can swap out the second name depending on who really can make it with you- this can only be done until full payment with Heber Travel and after that we can’t guarantee but we can always ask for our clients…

Q: So what makes this sailing so special?

A: One, it’s the new locks on the Panama Canal- amazing! Two, it is over NYE – your Medallion Princess App will have events as we get closer to the voyage (about a month before but def a week out all the events will be on the app) and Three- call us and let us count the ways this is a special sailing experience…..

Q: Can we get connecting cabins?

A: They are only available in select cabins.  Please be sure to indicate this on your reservation form and we will do our best to accommodate you.

DID YOU KNOW? Princess is the “Love Boat” Yes- it is true…Princess Cruises was catapulted to stardom in 1977 when one of its ships, Pacific Princess, was cast in a starring role on a new television show called “The Love Boat.

 

FAQ - Ship Specific Questions 

  1. What’s included in the Premier Beverage Package?
    The Premier Beverage Package includes a premium selection of beer, spirits, wine by the glass and cocktails $20 USD / $30 AUD and under, all non-alcoholic beverages including bottled water (500ml only), fountain sodas, the new Juice Bar, plus fresh juices (if available), specialty coffees and teas, frappes at Coffee & Cones, milkshakes (if available) and Red Bull energy drinks. Bar service charges are included in this package. The package includes the additional benefit of a 25% discount on the following excluded items: all bottles of wine, one-liter bottles of water and bottled juices. The package has a daily limit on alcoholic beverages of 15 beverages over a 24-hour period (6 a.m. to 6 a.m.).
  2. What if I’m not of legal drinking age (21 years of age or older)?
    Guests who are under 21 will receive the Zero-Alcohol Package, previously called Coffee & Soda Package. This package type will be assigned prior to sailing based on age of guest.
  3. What if I don’t drink alcohol?
    The value of the beverage package is a great deal even if you don’t drink alcohol. Both the Plus Beverage Package and Premier Beverage Package include fountain sodas, the new Juice Bar, fresh juices, bottled water, specialty coffees & teas, frappes, milkshakes and Red Bull energy drinks, with pre-paid 18% service charge included for these items. In the event that you don’t want the Plus Beverage Package or Premier Beverage Package, no substitutions will be offered.
  4. What’s included in the Zero-Alcohol or Coffee & Soda Package?
    This includes fountain soda by the glass, fruit juices, specialty coffees and teas, frappes, milkshakes and Red Bull energy drinks, all subject to availability on ship, with pre-paid 18% service charge included for these items. You also receive a 25% discount on bottled water of any size, canned soda and bottled juice. The Zero-Alcohol or Coffee & Soda Package does not include canned soda, room service, vending machine or mini-bar items.
  5. How does the ship know that I have the Premier Beverage Package?The ship systems recognize the package attached to a guest’s booking and notify our crew at the time of each transaction. When a guest orders an included item, the crew will see the applicable package and enter an order according to the package inclusions in the system. 
  6. How does the ship know that I have pre-paid Wi-Fi?
    MedallionNet® Wi-Fi automatically recognizes pre-paid MedallionNet plans. Guests have the option to “redeem” after sign-on to activate their device.
  7. Does each guest in the stateroom get four devices of Wi-Fi with Princess Premier?
    Yes, each guest with Princess Premier will receive the four-device Wi-Fi plan.
  8. How does the ship know that my package option includes crew appreciation?
    Your folio will reflect the pre-payment, by Princess Cruises, on your behalf for the suggested crew appreciation in the U.S. dollar amounts of $16.00 per person per day for interior, oceanview, and balcony staterooms, $17.00 per person per day for mini-suite, cabanas, and Reserve Collection staterooms and $18.00 per person per day for suites.
  9. Do I need to make reservations for my specialty dining meals in advance?
    You don’t have to, but we do recommend guests book early using Dine My Way® reservations in the Princess® MedallionClass® app to get the specialty dining restaurant, day and time they would like.
  10. What if I don’t use the 2 specialty dining meals in Princess Premier?
    The specialty dining credits are available only for your current voyage, are non-refundable if not used and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  11. Do I get two specialty dining meals included in Princess Premier regardless of cruise length?
    Yes. You receive two specialty dining meals at our award-winning restaurants regardless of the length of your booked cruise.
  12. What is included in the photo package?
    The photo package includes all digital photos of all guests in a stateroom from their voyage, including 3rd and 4th guests. The package also includes three physical prints of up to 8x10 size per guest you can redeem on board at the Photo Gallery. Digital photos are available for download through the MedallionClass app or transferred to a USB device on board at the Photo Gallery before disembarkation. Physical prints and digital photos are not available after the cruise ends.
  13. Can I purchase the photo package separately?
    The photo package is currently an exclusive offer for Princess Premier guests only. Other digital and print packages are available for purchase through the MedallionClass app or at the Photo Gallery on board.
  14. What is Princess Prizes?
    Princess Prizes is a promotion on board that allows guests to win great prizes through their stateroom door portal. The prize portal is activated when a guest opens their stateroom door using their Medallion® device.
  15. Does Princess Prizes have any limitations?
    Due to gaming laws, Princess Prizes can only operate when the ship is in international waters. In addition, minors are not eligible to play.
  16. What are the range of prizes for Princess Prizes?
    You can find the full list of current prizes in the Princess Prizes terms and conditions. Prizes currently include entry into an end-of-cruise drawing for $5,000 or more in cash, onboard credits, onboard dining experiences, free cruises and $100,000 cash. Prize offerings may change from time to time.
  17. What are the chances of winning the grand prize in Princess Prizes?
    The odds for the current prizes are available in the Princess Prizes terms and conditions. Odds of winning a prize in the end-of-cruise drawing depend on the number of entries received.
  18. Are Princess Prizes per person or per stateroom? How many entries do we get?
    Princess Prizes is limited to one (1) entry per stateroom. That entry covers the guest’s entire voyage from the time purchased or from embarkation (if upgraded with Princess Premier).
  19. If I win onboard credit from Princess Prizes, is that redeemable for cash?
    Onboard credits will be automatically applied to the guest’s end-of-voyage folio and are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
  20. If I win a cash prize, will it be split across the number of people in the stateroom?
    The prize will be awarded in totality to the first guest booked in the stateroom.
  21. Can I purchase Princess Prizes on board in addition to what I receive with Princess Premier to have more chances to win?
    No, Princess Prizes is limited to one (1) entry per stateroom. That entry covers the guest’s entire voyage from the time purchased or from embarkation (if upgraded with Princess Premier).
  22. What is included in Premium Desserts? Where can I order them when on board?
    Premium desserts are a frozen treat that includes gelato, candies, toppings, a pastry or cookie and alcohol if desired. For Plus guests, you may order 2 per day and for Premier it’s unlimited. Depending on your ship, you will find these at one of the following locations: the Gelato café, Swirls, Coffee & Cones or the pastry shop at World Fresh Marketplace.
  23. What is included in Fitness Classes? How do I make reservations?
    As part of our partnership with XPonential Fitness, we will be offering 3 types of classes for you to choose from: StretchLab, Pure Barre and YogaSix. With the Plus package, you will be able to participate in 2 classes per voyage, and with Premier, you will have unlimited access to these classes. You can sign up at the Fitness Center.
  24. What is included in reserved theater seating?
    As part of the Premier package, you will have access to a section of reserved seating in the Princess Theater for production shows only. Seats in this section are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be held up until 15 minutes before the performance start time and then released. All guests in your stateroom will be able to sit with you in this reserved section. Unfortunately, if you are traveling with others who are not Premier package guests, they will not be able to join you in this reserved section.
  25. What do you mean by free Medallion® device shipping? How does that work?
    You will be receiving a complimentary Medallion device and lanyard as part of your cruise experience. For any guests with a Plus or Premier package, you may order these items delivered to your home (for U.S. guests only) for no extra shipping fees. If you do not have the package, you pay a $10 flat fee to have these delivered to your home. Or you could choose to pick them up at the departure port for no extra fees.
  26. When will my Medallion be shipped?
    Between 12 to 21 days prior to your voyage. Please note, if you purchase your cruise within 11 days of your sail date, we will not be able to ship your complimentary Medallion device and lanyard to you because it may not be delivered in time for your cruise. Instead, it will be waiting for you at the port.
  27. What if I don’t live in the U.S.?
    Do I have to pay a shipping fee for my complimentary Medallion device and lanyard? No, these items will be available to pick up at the port with no shipping fee. You may still continue to complete your OceanReady® steps to get Green Lane ready.
  28. What is included for the Medallion accessory?
    As part of the Premier package, you will receive a clip accessory that has been exclusively designed just for Premier package guests. It will be in your stateroom when you arrive. Please note, this accessory cannot be returned or exchanged.
  29. What is included in the Juice Bar?

You may choose from 4 juice blends and 2 power shots (ginger and turmeric).

    • Each juice is a 150mL/6oz serving and will be unlimited for guests with a package.

When filling out the registration form, make sure you are entering names as they appear on your passport or as they will appear on your passport if you have not obtained a passport yet. When the time comes for booking airline tickets- it is critical that your names on your passports must match your airline tickets exactly. Passports must be valid for 6 months after travel and are very important to cruise this sailing.  If you do not have a passport and are not obtaining one- there are multiple steps to take- please reach out to us- our recommendation is always to plan early and have a passport - top it off with travel insurance and you have a recipe for success and a relaxing trip ahead of you.
